[blog walking] Ilmu Bebas Pakai - Free to use knowledge

Jaha, my virtual twin, created this blog of Ilmu Bebas Pakai - Free to use knowledge. Of course, there is a philosophy behind the creation of this website: to share the knowledge that he possesses to the rest of the world.

Basically what he shares is what he knows best: educational technology. Like his entry on Educational Video Production at school to empower schools in Indonesia; is it possible? where he shared his experience in applying some of his course in video production at Educational Technology program at Boston Uni in Indonesian context. Neat idea I should say, but of course video is an out-dated technology in Indonesia. VCD is more common now, and probably some have even moved further to DVD technology. Still as he said, the cost of doing a video production task for students is cheaper than building a computer lab. I just remembered that this is the main reason of why Chris Rozendaal did video subtitling for his upcoming thesis. He said that because he is going to work in China where sometimes the school has no internet access, video will be a more feasible media for teaching.

Nice work, Twin...but it seems that it has been ages since you update your blog!
